10+ Organically Grown Seeds — Dwarf Boronia
A compact powerhouse with bold color and flavor, Dwarf Boronia is one of the most beloved releases from the Dwarf Tomato Project. This rugose, regular-leaf dwarf grows to about 3–4 feet tall, making it perfect for containers or small gardens while still producing impressively large fruit for its size.
The oblate, pink fruits with dusky dark shoulders weigh between 4–16 oz and are smooth, meaty, and richly colored—often compared in look and taste to Cherokee Purple. The flavor is intense, full-bodied, and beautifully balanced, offering that signature heirloom depth in a smaller, more manageable plant.
Developed from a cross between New Big Dwarf and Paul Robeson, Dwarf Boronia represents the collaborative work of some of the best minds in modern tomato breeding, including Patrina Nuske Small, Craig LeHoullier, and the Dwarf Project team. Introduced in 2014, it remains a top choice for growers who want big flavor in a small space.
