10+ Organically Grown Seeds — Red Trash Panda
*Recent variety and should be considered experimental.
Some of the best tomatoes have the most unexpected beginnings, and Red Trash Panda is a perfect example. This unique variety was discovered by Brooke of Shorty’s Funny Farm in Indiana, growing spontaneously from a farm burn pile. What started as a surprise volunteer quickly proved itself worthy of preservation thanks to its incredible flavor, impressive size, and outstanding garden performance.
The indeterminate, regular-leaf plants are vigorous growers that produce enormous red fruits, many of which exceed one pound. These large tomatoes combine impressive size with excellent texture, offering a nearly perfect balance between juicy flesh and seed content.
Flavor is where Red Trash Panda has earned its devoted following. The fruits are exceptionally juicy with a rich sweetness and subtle smoky undertones. The result is a tomato that delivers both classic heirloom richness and an unforgettable depth of flavor.
Whether sliced thick for sandwiches, featured on a summer platter, or enjoyed fresh from the garden, Red Trash Panda consistently delivers outstanding eating quality and a memorable story to go with every harvest.
