10+ Organically Grown Seeds — Amethyst Jewel
A breathtaking modern heirloom from Brad Gates of Wild Boar Farms, Amethyst Jewel is one of those varieties that stops gardeners in their tracks with its gemstone-like beauty and outstanding performance. The indeterminate, regular-leaf vines are vigorous and productive, continuing to set fruit right up until frost when cared for properly.
The fruits are medium-sized beefsteaks (about 3.5–7 oz / 100–200 g) with a striking pink or dark pink skin accented by deep purple or blue-violet shoulders—a visual effect thanks to high anthocyanin pigmentation that intensifies in strong sunlight.
Inside, you’ll find dense, firm flesh with few seeds and a juicy, well-balanced taste that leans sweet and fruity without harsh acidity. It’s beautiful sliced fresh in salads, on sandwiches, or simply enjoyed straight off the vine.
A favorite for gardens big and small, Amethyst Jewel combines exotic looks, dependable yields, and delicious flavor for a tomato that truly lives up to its name.
