Ananas Noire- 10+ Organically grown seeds This is one of Seb's favorites. This tomato was discovered and stabilized by Pascal Moreau, a Belgian horticulturist after he discovered it growing in a patch of Pineapple tomatoes.
It was introduced in the SSE 2003 Yearbook by the late Belgian seed preservationist, Luc Fichot. These are very large, tri-colored beefsteaks that can reach up to 2 lbs ocassionally. Most average in the 1 lb range. The interior is mottled with red, green and pink. Very meaty slices that hold up well. The skin is a red, olive green , purple color. A stunning tomato to say the least. The taste is sweet yet mild.
Sometimes it becomes difficult to describe a gorgeous tomato without using the same verbiage. It's a work of art. Sure to impress any tomato connoiseur. A feast for the eyes and mouth. Moderate producer. Indeterminate Regular Leaf Mid-Late Season
