10+ Organically Grown Seeds — Baiguo Qiangfeng (White Fruit Strong Abundance)
A beautifully balanced tomato from China, Baiguo Qiangfeng—whose name translates to “White Fruit Strong Abundance”—is as poetic as it is productive. Known in North America as Grandmother’s Joy of the East by some collectors, this rare Chinese heirloom delivers both elegance and substance in the garden.
The indeterminate plants are vigorous and steady producers of perfectly round, pink globes averaging 3–7 ounces each. Their smooth, uniform shape makes them ideal slicers, while the flavor is deep and rich with a pleasant old-fashioned sweetness. It’s the kind of tomato that feels instantly familiar yet distinctly refined.
A remarkable variety from China’s long tomato-growing heritage, first introduced to North America by Tatiana’s TOMATObase Seeds in 2009—now preserved and grown fresh in Florida for the Secret Seed Cartel collection.
