Gift from the Woodlands- 10+ Organically Grown Seeds I received my original seeds from my tomato mentor/hero, the late Gary Millwood from Louisville, Kentucky. These ruby red , round tennis ball size fruits averaging 5-8 oz and have excellent flavor. They grow on Regular Leaf plants. According to Gary, he told me that he was at the Woodlands Festival in Lexington, KY and it was a tomato he tasted there. The Woodlands festival has been held for more than 40 years and is an art fair with more than 180 artists and craftspeople selling unique,handcrafted items. I believe he had a meal at the festival that included this tomato. He didn't know the variety so he saved some seeds and grew them out and simply called them 'Gift from the Woodlands'. It is probably a known variety but I am going with the name Gary gave me when he shared seeds. Our seeds are grown from Gary's original seed. Excellent tomato. Sure to NOT disappoint.
