JARSON 7/1 TRICOLOR TOMATO SEEDS (F7)

10+ Organically Grown Seeds — Jarson 7/1

A truly exceptional selection from Polish breeder Jarson, Jarson 7/1 is the kind of tomato that reminds growers why they fell in love with heirlooms in the first place. Combining breathtaking beauty with world-class flavor, this variety was one of the highest-rated tomatoes in multiple grower trials and has quickly become a standout among the increasingly popular Jarson selections.

Derived from a cross between Kozula 25 and Malakhitovaya Shkatulka (Malachite Box), Jarson 7/1 brings together two legendary parent varieties known for their extraordinary flavor and striking appearance. The result is a tomato that inherits the best traits of both.

The indeterminate, regular-leaf plants are vigorous and productive, producing abundant harvests of large fruits averaging 15 oz (425 g). Harvest begins in the mid to late season and continues steadily as the plants mature.

The fruits are absolutely stunning. Ripening as a green-when-ripe tricolor, they display vibrant green backgrounds highlighted by dramatic hot pink veining and marbling throughout the fruit. The coloration is so striking that many growers consider it among the most beautiful tomatoes they have ever grown. Every sliced fruit becomes a centerpiece.

Flavor is where Jarson 7/1 truly separates itself from the crowd. The flesh is rich, complex, and intensely flavorful, combining deep umami character with bright fruity notes that linger pleasantly on the palate. The balance of sweetness, acidity, and savory depth creates an unforgettable eating experience that consistently earns praise from tomato enthusiasts.

As with many Jarson selections, some variation may occur as these lines continue to be grown and refined. For collectors and adventurous gardeners, that unpredictability is part of the appeal, offering the opportunity to discover unique expressions of an already outstanding variety.
