A striking and modern beefsteak tomato with bold visuals and layered flavor, Red Ocean stands out in any garden or display. This open-pollinated, indeterminate variety produces medium-to-large fruits weighing approximately 200–350 g (7–12 oz). 

The fruits are slightly flattened with gentle ribbing at the top, and show an intense dark red-purple skin on the lower half that contrasts beautifully with a light to deep green neck.  Inside is dense, meaty flesh with little gel and few seeds—and the flavor is described as spicy, complex, and satisfyingly rich. 

The plants grow with a strong stem, regular foliage and moderately vigorous habit, making them well-suited for the long Florida growing season. They perform best when staked or caged and given consistent care.
