10+ Organically Grown Seeds — Sart Roloise
One of the most breathtaking modern heirlooms to emerge in recent years, Sart Roloise looks almost too beautiful to be real. Bred in 2012 by Roland Boulanger of Sart-Eustache, Belgium, this remarkable variety is a cross between White Wonder and Baby Blue, combining tropical sweetness with dramatic anthocyanin beauty. The result is a tomato that feels more like stained glass than garden produce.
The indeterminate, regular-leaf plants are tall, vigorous, and productive, setting medium to large beefsteak fruits averaging 7–12 oz (200–350 g), with some reaching up to 1 pound or more. The fruits ripen to a glowing vanilla-yellow to golden hue, crowned with dramatic indigo-purple brushstrokes across the shoulders that intensify in full sun. Inside, the flesh is dense, creamy, and meaty with few seeds.
Flavor is where Sart Roloise truly shines—sweet, fruity, and complex, with tropical, pineapple-like notes balanced by just enough acidity to keep every bite lively and memorable. Thick slices make an unforgettable sandwich tomato, while the stunning coloration turns every salad platter into a showpiece.
A tomato for collectors, market growers, and anyone who appreciates beauty paired with exceptional eating quality, Sart Roloise is the kind of variety that stops visitors in their tracks.
