10+ Organically Grown Seeds — White Moruga Scorpion Pepper

Ghostly white fruit and absolutely ferocious heat make White Moruga Scorpion one of the most distinctive members of the Moruga Scorpion family. This rare Capsicum chinense combines the brutally hot character and wickedly textured pods associated with Moruga-type peppers with an unusual creamy white to ivory coloration at maturity.

Plants are vigorous and can reach approximately 3–4 feet tall under favorable conditions. The pods typically grow to around 2 inches (5–6 cm), developing irregular, heavily textured surfaces with folds, bumps, and occasional pointed or tail-like ends. Fruits begin green before progressing through pale yellow or straw-colored stages and eventually reaching their characteristic creamy white or ivory color.

Don’t let that delicate coloration fool you. White Moruga Scorpion is an extreme superhot. Various sources place it above 1 million SHU, with estimates extending into the 1.5-million-plus range. We have not found authoritative laboratory testing establishing a definitive Scoville rating specifically for this white selection, so we prefer to describe those numbers as estimates rather than an official measurement.

Behind the tremendous heat is a surprisingly interesting flavor. The peppers are described as having fruity, citrus-like and subtly sweet notes, making them particularly interesting for superhot sauces, powders and fermented preparations where both flavor and extraordinary heat are desired.

The exact breeding history of the White Moruga Scorpion is not completely clear. It is generally described as a white form derived from Trinidad Moruga Scorpion genetics, while some sources suggest additional genetics may have been involved in creating the pale coloration. Rather than assign an uncertain breeder or parentage, we prefer to leave those details open until better documentation becomes available.

For collectors who already appreciate the legendary Moruga Scorpion but want something considerably more unusual, White Moruga Scorpion delivers spectacular ivory pods, classic superhot morphology and truly formidable heat.
